Building a Legacy - About Your IUOE Team

The International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE) has a rich history and plays a significant role in the construction industry. With a diverse membership of operating engineers, mechanics, and surveyors, IUOE is dedicated to representing and advocating for its members’ interests.

Building a Strong Foundation: Giving a Voice to Our Members

The International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE) is a progressive, diversified trade union that represents stationary engineers and operating engineers who work as heavy equipment operators, and mechanics in the construction industry. The operators may work in operations and maintenance in building and industrial complexes, or in the construction industries. Regardless of the industry our Kansas City operators work in, it’s our privilege to represent them and create a community where we can grow in our profession together and watch out for each other.
