Before applying to the apprenticeship, there are certain requirements that you need to meet. These include minimum age requirement, educational qualifications, relevant work certifications, and other factors. Once you meet the prerequisites, you can apply for the apprenticeship program.

The apprenticeship program lasts three years, a total of 4,500 hours. Each year consists of 1,500 hours, including mandatory class and on-site job training. Each year of the program includes classes that take place six days a week for eight hours a day in three-week sessions. On-site job training is a paid apprenticeship where you will earn 65% of the journeyman’s wage during your first year, 75% in the second year, and 85% in the final year.
There are no fees for the program itself, but members of the apprenticeship program are expected to pay union fees. The only thing the apprenticeship program costs is your dedication, time, and hardwork.
